UNESCO has approved Jubail Industrial City as "the first Saudi learning city." This is to create a culture of lifelong learning and provide individuals of all ages with the skills they need to actively participate in the country’s social and economic development, confront national and global challenges in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and implementing the Sustainable Development Goals.
