• The fifth Saudi site registered on the World Heritage List. 
• Al-Ahsa Oasis is located in the eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula. 
• It includes gardens, freshwater springs, irrigation canals and wells, as well as Al-Asfar Lake. 
• It has historical buildings, including historical forts, mosques, springs, canals and other water management systems. 
• Al-Ahsa Oasis is the largest palm oasis in the world. The number of palm trees there reach 2.5 million.
